An LED heatsink dissipates heat from suitable power LEDs and helps to limit overheating and unnecessary stress on the LED. In this category you will find aluminium heatsinks of, among others, 20, 50 and 51 mm, with various thermal resistances such as 6.3 and 2.4 K/W. Match the size and cooling capacity to the LED used and the available mounting space. Also check the mounting, electrical contact and the use of suitable thermal material for good heat transfer.
